Cuyahoga National Park was next on the agenda; we found accommodation 10 miles away in Stow, Ohio since there were no campgrounds within the park. The bike trails both in the vicinity and within the park were a joy. Adjacent to our campsite, there was a lovely trail leading directly to the park, while within the park, two trails spanned its entire length (13 miles). Our electric bikes made the exploration so enjoyable.. The towpath trail ran along the old Ohio-Erie canal. The trails was used by mules to pull the barges. Remains of the locks were still visible.
Much to our joy, our friends Sapa and Thora were traveling back from the east coast in their camper. They got in touch with us and reserved the spot right beside ours in Stow. We enjoyed delightful meals, walks, and a campfire together! Just a friendly reminder to all - we welcome visitors on our journey.
Laundry Experiment - success!!
Feeling some trepidation about doing laundry while traveling, Judy came prepared with a 5-gallon bucket, a clean toilet plunger, a clothes spinner (similar to a salad spinner but for clothes), and a drying rack. With these tools, she successfully completed the laundry task. The clothes spinner proved to be highly efficient, as the clothes were dry within 2 hours of being removed from the device. (Watch the video below to see the water gushing out as the clothes spun around).
